Hello! I’m Casey. I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and food advocate who loves eating and cooking delicious food with friends and family while balancing that with good health. I have worked in weight loss surgery for over 14 years I am here to support you on the nutritional aspects of your surgical journey.

I have a strong interest in helping people live healthier and happier lives, especially while going through something as lifechanging as weight loss surgery. I will support your nutritional needs before the surgery and afterwards with a range of individualised sessions to guide your food choices and influence your eating habits. Having a smaller stomach capacity will mean you need to make the things you eat count, and I will help ensure you meet your complex nutritional needs along the way.

My goal is to help you to lose weight in a way that you’ll still enjoy food, eat a wide variety, meet your body’s individual nutritional needs and keep the weight off!

Our sessions can be done in person at Randwick Weight Loss Surgery OR via telehealth (ZOOM) in the comfort of your own home.

Why have a Dietitian involved in your weight loss journey?

  • Recognise the diet progression back to normal food in the weeks after the surgery
  • Understand the changes to your gut and digestion after surgery
  • Lose weight while preventing long term nutritional problems
  • Avoid weight regain and understand the key nutrients involved
  • Individualised strategies for overcoming past habits
  • Improve your relationship with food, making food choices that will support your new lifestyle. Research shows positive link with attending sessions with the dietitian and long term outcomes
